Through November 30, Korea University Sejong Campus University Job Plus Center, led by Director Byunghee Lee, is operating the “2025 KUS Alumni Mentoring Program” to support students’ job preparation and expand networking opportunities between seniors and juniors.
The program brings together alumni mentors currently working across a wide range of industries, including large corporations, public enterprises, multinational companies, mid-sized and small enterprises, government and research institutions such as the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and airline cabin crew positions.
The mentors will share practical insights covering their job roles and industries, key competencies required in the workplace, corporate recruitment processes, and overall job preparation, including resume and personal statement review.
The mentors have designed in-depth and structured mentoring sessions based on their professional experiences. These sessions include company and job introductions, industry trend analysis, real project cases such as new product planning and channel strategies, know-how for resume and interview preparation, and advanced job-specific consultations (Q&A).
In addition, dedicated sessions are provided in which mentors directly review mentees’ personal statements and offer concrete, practical feedback such as strengthening connections between experiences, enhancing job relevance, and improving storytelling.
The University Job Plus Center stated, “The firsthand experiences and advice shared by alumni mentors will greatly enhance students’ understanding of their desired careers and improve their employment competitiveness. We will continue to support students in building networks with professionals across diverse industries and expanding the scope of their career exploration.”
