On September and November, Korea University Sejong Campus University Job Plus Center, led by Director Byunghee Lee, operated the Youth Employment Policy Golden Bell Program twice to enhance students’ understanding of career planning and youth employment policies.
A total of 888 students participated in the program, and 500 outstanding participants were awarded scholarships totaling 15 million won.
The program was designed to deliver information on government youth policies and employment-related systems in an easy-to-understand quiz format, enabling students to apply this knowledge effectively in their actual job preparation process.
Through the Golden Bell style quizzes, participants were able to naturally acquire policy information while simultaneously increasing engagement and learning effectiveness.
Going beyond a simple quiz competition, the Youth Employment Policy Golden Bell focused on improving young people’s understanding of employment policies and providing practical support for career exploration and job preparation.
During the first session, a pre-orientation (O.T.) was held to help students better understand unfamiliar employment policies. Participants responded positively, stating that they were able to easily grasp employment policies they had not previously known and felt rewarded by receiving scholarships as well.
The University Job Plus Center stated, “We hope this program served as an opportunity for young people to better understand essential employment policy information and further clarify their career paths. We will continue to provide beneficial career programs for students through a variety of innovative approaches.”
