The University Job Center, at Korea University Sejong Campus hosted the “NCS Core Competency PASS Program,” designed to help students prepare for the written examination stage of public-sector recruitment. The program aims to strengthen the employment competencies of current students and alumni through live online lectures and mock examinations.

 

A total of 64 participants, including 40 current students and 24 alumni from the Sejong Campus, took part in the program. In addition, 67 students from the Seoul Campus also registered, demonstrating strong interest in the initiative. Notably, the first 100 senior students and alumni who registered were provided with a free copy of the Hackers Public Enterprise NCS Integrated Basic Guide, a study resource for written exam preparation, which received a highly positive response from participants.

 

The online lecture series was conducted on weekdays from May 27 to June 2, running from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Each session recorded a high completion rate, with between 52 and 56 participants completing the daily coursework. Furthermore, the average completion rate, including both live attendance and recorded lecture viewing, reached 83%.

 

The curriculum covered communication skills, numerical skills, problem-solving skills, resource management skills, work ethics, and interpersonal skills, providing effective preparation for the NCS Core Competency Assessment used in public-sector recruitment examinations.

 

The program was organized by the University Job Center of Korea University Sejong Campus and operated by Hackers, further enhancing its professional quality. Through this initiative, many students were given a valuable opportunity to make practical preparations for careers in public enterprises.
